« on: August 19, 2019, 03:03:11 PM »
Hello everyone,
I was thinking about purchasing some Col de Dame Blanc and was wondering if anyone knows how well it does in the Phoenix region????
Also, what does everyone think of this variety?

I live in hot humid Missouri and had been thinking of trying CDD Roja or rimada but like you I donít know any locals growing it. Before a poor boy like me spends $100 I gotta know if anyone has luck around here. I bet with all of your heat they will grow like crazy with enough water.

We believe we have one of these growing but no figs who report this time. And I would stop and wait there's no sense in spending $100 or so for one fig variety when you may be able to get it for free.

I donít mind buying one expensive tree every year or two. If I get one then I can share cuttings with others. If I see a contest for one I will definitely try for it though lol.

Thanks!
Late March I received the cuttings and figpopped them, up-potted this directly into its 3 gallon container on April 20th.
