Looks superb! So what's your honest opinion  of preto vs black Madeira? I'm not keen on forking out the money for a kk if preto is pretty darn close

I have heard the Figo Preto is considered to be very similar to the Black Madeira? Any truth to that?

We have not experienced any splitting but she is a little slower growing and only has one crop

I have heard Preto is better than BM as it is more vigorous and does not split. BM is notorious for splitting in rainy environments.

Yes you're correct if you research the BM it does have a problem with splitting. And another fact I think that KK got there's from John of the F4F which got his from UC Davis so what's the difference in them?

Seems the difference is the ucd stain has fmv and kk does not.. ross the boss says proper nutrition  and occasional  neem oil spraying makes it a non issue.
