There is a lot of built-up hype by sellers on foreign figs. They're using elaborate descriptions of the figs taste and production. But the big giveaway that you need to be aware of they do not post pictures of the Figs growing here in the US.

The most recent series are the varieties Francisco lorusso collection. The Oro Blanca has reports all over social media as well as we have experienced dropping of the figs which is a sign that they need pollination in order for the figs to be edible. The sad part is we are experiencing the same result with all his varieties having grown them for over 3 years.

There was a couple of claims that the Oro Blanca produced  a edible fig . You will be seeing postings of photos with these big huge luscious figs versus the photos here in the US small nickel-sized figs not even being close in comparison.

The main reason for this is those varieties need to be pollinated in order to produce an edible fig and the foreign photos are of pollinated figs.

The other Factory is United States has different growing conditions and also the Sunbelt has a huge difference from where the varieties originated from.

THIS IS WHY YOU NEED TO BE INFORMED about your growing zone. The same fig will have different results in the growing zones and conditions you are growing in also if it's been pollinated it will have a different sized  and taste just some of the facts that you need to be aware of.

So we would advise you to be aware of sellers making these extraordinary claims the taste and production of a fig variety that has a claim in the description MY TREE HASN'T PRODUCED YET !

There has been a huge amount of money Invested in these foreign Fig varieties. Unfortunately you will have a sizable amount of sellers that really don't care ! !

They are just after your money.  Please keep checking in and we will keep you updated.

We really regret having two inform you of this. The chances of that variety producing the fig in that photo are 0%.
