Like AtlantaFig, I have a couple of DC-7 cuttings that have rooted.   I can only hope my plants develop as many figs as JD's trees in a year or two.   And then, FLAVOR..........
Wish List: Black Tuscan, Black Zadar, Bordissot Negra Rimada, Buzzone Nero, Cessac, Col de Dam Gegantina, Cravens Craving, Figoin

You can get fruits this year. That’s one of the reasons I love fig.

Dave,
When I purchased my DC-7 and LSU 156 cuttings from JD (on another site), I asked the same question.  I don't think there is a whole lot of information on cold hardiness.   I hope to get a chance to see how they overwinter in NJ this year.   As for flavor, I think there is variability based on growing them in the ground versus in a pot.  I will be growing mine in containers.   As soon as I get a first fig, I will take pictures and let everyone know how it tastes.
Wish List: Black Tuscan, Black Zadar, Bordissot Negra Rimada, Buzzone Nero, Cessac, Col de Dam Gegantina, Cravens Craving, Figoin

Hey there, I am Michelle from New York & my hobby is gardening. I have recently planted a small fig tree which I found on some home & garden discount codes website. So, I decided to give it a try and it turned out to be an amazing addition to my garden. Loved it!
