Col de Dam Grise
« on: March 07, 2021, 07:15:21 AM »
I got two Col de Dam Grise cuttings to root this winter.   Here is a picture of one of them.   From everything I have read, this variety produces late in the season but is a winner.
Wish List: Black Tuscan, Black Zadar, Bordissot Negra Rimada, Buzzone Nero, Cessac, Col de Dam Gegantina, Cravens Craving, Figoin

Tyler, A friend of mine told me it is exceptional and I saw pictures of his fruit last summer.   My friend also has CDD Gegantina, and claimed it was even better.   My collection now has CDD Noir, CDD Blanca, CDD Grise, and will hopefully have CDD Gegantina if my cuttings continue to root and grow out.   And then I look for a small CDD Rimada in the spring!!!!

I heard that CdD Grise, Noir, Rimada and Gegantina were some good figs.  John your collection is getting bigger by the minute.  Good luck.

I purchased only a one cutting of it and it rooted in a week! It grows vigorously here, very strong looking plant, thick branches and leaves. I don't have other cdd to compare but Bourjasotte Grise rooted, grows and looks identically. They are far ahead of figs that were rooted 6 months before them.
WL: Smith, RdB, CDDB, LSU,CLBC, Raspberry latte.
