I enjoyed your video.  You mentioned before to look for the bumps in the wood where potential roots will sprout.  I have received cuttings that didn't have any and attempted to use the water method for rooting.  The cuttings sprouted leaves before lenticels formed and eventually died.  I was disappointed with the cuttings when I received them due to the lack of bumps mentioned. I am wondering if it's because the cuttings were too thin (too young) because yours were thicker than those I received.

Ben,  Great video.  You are far more patient than I am when it comes to waiting for lenticels to form.   This year, I place the cuttings in water and as soon as I see first signs of root bumps or pushing of a small green bud, I plant them in moist soil.   Then, into my Rubbermaid tub they go.   I do not soak the cutting as you do, instead letting the cutting root and push out green growth before adding very small amounts of water.   My tub is very humid, so I think my cuttings don't need that extra moisture.   So far, results are very promising.
