ISO Isa Fig

Hi all: someone told me there is a fig named: Isa. This is my daughter’s nickname, so if someone has a tree, I would like to get a cutting or a rooted cutting. Thanks, regards jose pablo

I checked on Google and YouTube, I couldn't find a fig called Isa Fig. I suspect the owner of the fig tree doesn't know the real name of the fig variety so he or she gave it the name Isa.

I did find an Australian Mt Isa fig.   It looks like a tiny orange mushroom cap.   I could not find anything about its taste or availability.   I presume it may be a wild fig found only in a certain region of the country.  Here is a link to the fig I was able to locate.

Researching stuff is fun. Encanto Farms had an entry in the old figforfun varieties database called Isabel.  You can try reaching out to them if they even still grow it.

Actually, when I was looking at figbid today, I saw a listing for cuttings of an "ISA" fig. It was probably imported not that long ago so there is not a lot of information on it and not many people have it.

Glad you found it. I was beginning to wonder if it were isa pig. You know, the relative of ima, hesa and shesa.
