Wow!!!  Look at what UPS just delivered to my door!

John, thanks so much for the Acciano trees!  They look beautiful. I can’t wait to taste a new fig and test it for cold hardiness.

Since you were so generous with me, I’d like to pay it forward and offer a Dr. Gowaty to whoever guesses closest to the random number generator’s pick between 1 and 1,000.

Winner must have their complete address filled out in the SFF profile, otherwise it’ll go to the next-closest guesser.  If you live in an area where you’re not allowed to receive live plants shipped in from Arkansas (hello, California), perhaps this is not the contest for you.

Contest ends at midnight CDT on Sunday, May 21.  Good luck!

Congratulations Andrea. My Acciano and Dr. Gowarty fig trees are among the fig trees growing from the roots in container. I will pass. Thank you Andrea for paying it forward.

Andrea, Thanks for running another giveaway for members on the forum.   I'm trying desperately to reduce my collection, so I will sit this one out and give other members a better opportunity to add to theirs.

Congratulations, Andrea! I hope those trees perform well for you. I don't have a Dr. Gowaty and am very curious about it. But I will give someone else an opportunity to win. Thanks for sharing your treasures.

I work long hours on the weekend and just found out about this give away. I would be interested in the tree if I could still guess.

We have a winner!  Thomas guessed closest to the random number, 688, so I'll be boxing that up and shipping it out today if I can.  Hoping you receive it before the long weekend.  Congratulations! 

Next up, I'll be giving away a Violette de Sollies in June.  Stay tuned.  I'll let that contest run for more than a few days so hopefully more people will have time to check in and guess.
